We are what we dress

Dear readers,

if there is something I'm convinced is fashion is a type of art and, as all the arts, you try to comunicate trhough your works what you feel. The stylists, the designers try to show their feeling, they culture trhought the clothes they create.

Someone said "We are what we eat" I would like to change this sentence in "We are what we dress". Every occasion has got the perfect outfit, every place a standart to follow, every situation the right style. Clothes is a way to show to the people who we are.

At the beginning clothes were used to repaired us from the cold, but now they have become a way to explain our things, a way to communicate with the world.
The history thought:have you  ever heard about the "sans-culottes"? If not is because you weren't listening during the history lesson at school! they were the french revolutionaries which were recognized thanks to their clothes, in particular thanks to their long trousers which were different from the short one (the culottes) the nobels used to wear.

They are still remembered thanks to their tipe of clothes.
The hippies were identified thanks to their colourful and floreal dress (Colour power) and the dandies thanks to their elegance. You maybe cannot agree with me but just look around you, every jobs, every culture and every age is identified by different type of outfit.
I have decided that every week if it is possible I will write a post about what we can dress in diffent situations, mine will be only a tip..becuase only you really know how you are inside and what you need is to show it with the right type of clothes.
And remember clothes make the monaco!!!!

quando parliamo di moda dobbiamo specificare a cosa ci riferiamo.
Inizialmente l'abito veniva usato per ripararsi dal freddo, ma oggi non è più così! Attreverso l'abito possiamo comunicare chi siamo, i nostri pensieri, la nostra filosofia di vita, la nostra condizione sociale.

La storia insegna! I sanculotti, i rivoluzionari francesi sono tuttoggi ricordati per il fatto che, invece di indossare le culotte (i pantaloncini corti al ginocchio) portati dai nobili, indossavano pantaloni lunghi.
Abiti che fanno la differenza.
Gli hippies hanno assocciato le loro ideologie di libertà e amore ad abiti coloratissimi e dai motivi floreali, i dandy hanno espresso la loro eleganza e i loro pensieri attraverso la raffinatezza e l'accuratezza dell'abito e dell'accessorio.
Insomma, l'abito è un mezzo di comunicazione. L'abito è un'opera d'arte!
Gli stilisti sono gli artisti, che, attraverso le loro creazioni, esprimono i loro sentimenti.
Tu, indossi gli abiti che più ti rappresentano, e li cambi in base alle varie occasioni.
Qualcuno, in passato, ha affermato che noi siamo quello che mangiamo, ma potremmo affermare che noi siamo anche, e sopratutto quello che vestiamo.

Potrete non essere d'accordo con me e pensare che questo sia un discorso superficiale, ma guardatevi attorno: ogni lavoro, ogni cultura e ogni età veste diversamente, si esprime diversamente.

Proprio per questo motivo ho deciso di aprire una piccola rubrica settimanale per suggerire l'abito adatto da indossare in occasioni diverse. Certo il mio sarà solo un consiglio, una dritta che potrete seguire o meno..poichè solo voi vi conoscete interiormente e quindi solo voi sapete qual'è l'oufit adatto a voi!

E ricordatevi che, qualunque cosa vi dicano, l'abito fa il monaco!
