Hi shopping addicted,
how I have alredy said I went to Liverpool the last weekend and one of the thing I have visited was the Tate museum. It was relly good, but it wasn't the place with more art in Liverpool in my opinion, infact on Saturday I went in a shopping centre "only to look" and I have seen something spectacular, somethingamazing!
I have been breathless in front of a Kurt Geiger boutique!!! This because of a really big cube on the entry high 3 metres, made from mirror pannels and full of beautiful shoes! It was irresistible:-)
The shoes were as cool as expensive of course, so I wasn't be able to buy them...
But now I can't stop thinking about that amazing shops, I really would like a big mirrors cube full of shoes in my future house (and a Ferrari of corse!)
Kurt Geiger always surprise the fashion world with his immagination and his ideas, the last collection was inspired by the tropical world and the name of the collection was "Birds of paradise".
Yves Saint Laurent has inspired Geiger with his statement (Elle1977):
But a night I want women to be birds of paradise
For the launch of this new collection he decided to make the shoes suspend from the ceiling..
The result? "WOW" is the only word you were able to say!!!! All the colourfull shoes in the air looked like birds, like birds of paradise:-)
And you know...before of this collection my favourite animal was the fox...but now...now I really love birds (but only by Kurt;-))

come ho già detto in precedenza ho passato questo weekend a Liverpool e uno dei posti che ho visitato è stato il magnifico museo d'arte contemporanea (Tate museum)...
Mi dispiace per Picasso ma anche se fantastiche le sue opere non sono lontanamente paragonabili a ciò che mi ha fatto rimanere senza fiato all'interno del centro commerciale St John: la vetrina della botique di Kurt Geigen!!!
Non si tratta infatti di una vetrina qualunque...all'entrata è posizionata una scultura rettangolare formata da pannelli di vetro e specchi alta 3 metri e.........PIENA DI SCARPE!!!
Le scarpe erano fantastiche quanto costose quindi non ho acquistato nulla:-( ma la vista di quella vetrina non mi esce dalla mente...vorrei averne una uguale a casa:-)
Non è la prima volta che Kurt Geigen stupisce il mondo del fashion con le sue idee e la sua creatività, ci basta infatti ricordare l'ultima sua collezione "Birds of paradise" e come è avvenuto il lancio di questa.
Il tutto si riferisce al mondo tropicale e agli animali esotici, in particolare agli uccelli.
Da ringraziare è sicuramente Yves Saint Laurent per l'ispirazione data con la dichiarazione fatta su Elle nel 1977:

Per la presentazione le scarpe sono state appese al soffitto con dei fili trasparenti. Il risultato è stato superbo!
Le scarpe coloratissime sospese nell'aria davano l'idea di veri e propri uccelli...uccelli celestiali.
Prima di assistere a tutto ciò il mio animale preferito era la volpe, ma ora care shopping addicted devo dire che adoro gli uccelli (ma solo se made by Kurt!)
