Karl Lagerfeld top and H&M jeans..why not?

Hy shopping addicted,

what a day yesterday! I have met a friend of mine (Dave) from Scotland and we are planning to go to Glaslow..I'm looking forward to going, and I promise I'm going to write a post about the fashion life in Scotland.

The night I went out with some french friends and before going out we met to be ready for the night club.

We have talked about dresses and one of us for the night weared a Karl Lagerfeld top really expensive and a pair of cheap H&M jeans...result? Perfect!

Yes, of course it was perfect! Who has never said you can't mix important brand clothes with some from the fast fashion industries? Noboby!

Who, instead, has said you can???

A lot of actress and models use to mix clothes..some examples? Olivia Palermo, Mischa Barton, Taylor Momsen, Sarah Jessica Parker and I could continue forever!

Some of them decided as well to startung a own low cost brand and they are having a lot of success. One is Sarah J.P. with Bitten and the slogan:  "Fashion is not a luxury"...another is Kate Moss of course who is working for Topshop with a lot of success.

Stars love this low cost clothes not because, as some of us, they don't have enough money to spend in clothes but because they know the quality is good and sometimes a Topshop top is more fgashion then a Karl Lagerfeld one!

Ciao a tutte shopping addicted,
che giornata è stata ieri! Dopo un sacco di tempo ho rivisto un amico scozzase con il quale ora sto programmando di andare a Glasgow e non vedo l'ora! Vi prometto che al mio ritorno scriverò un post che parlerà del fashion style scozzese:-)

Dopo questa rimpatriata tra amici mi sono trovata con due mie amiche francesi e mentre ci preparavamo per uscire la sera abbiamo speso ore a chiacchierare di vestiti tra una passata di mascara e l'altra.
Una di noi ha indossato per la nostra uscita un top di Karl Lagerfeld abbinato ad un paio di jeans H&M...risultato? perfetto!

Certo, perfetto..e non avevo dubbi. In fondo chi ha mai detto che non si possono mixare capi costosissimi con altri economici? nessuno!

Al contrario, sempre più sono le attrici e le modelle che vestono abiti low cost. Qualche esempio? Misha Barton, Sarah Jessica Parker, Olivia Palermo, Taylor Momsen e la lista potrebbe continuare all'infinito.

Alcune di loro hanno addirittura deciso di lanciare una propria catena di abiti low cost.

Una di queste è Sarah J.P. che publicizza la sua collezzione Bitten con lo slogan "Fashion is not a luxury", un'altra è sicuramente Kate Moss che lavora già da anni con il marchio low cost Topshop che sta riscuotendo sempre più successo.

Se le star adorano e acquistano capi economici non è sicramente perchè, a differenza di molte di noi, hanno problemi economici, ma perchè anche loro sanno ammettere che un capo non è fashion solo se molto costoso e che a volte un abito di Topshop è migliore di uno di Karl Lagerfeld:-)
