Material Girl

Hello shopping lovers,

"we are living in a material world and I'm a material girl" used to sing Madonna ages ago, and now, when the queen of the pop is busy directing movies and finding new boyfriends, it's time for her daughter to remember us what's a real material girlShe does it with her clothes brand and with her rocky pop collections!

Taylor Momsen, already famous after having acted in the fiction "Gossip Girl" was choosen by Lourdes to became the icon of the brand. Her look is perfect for the style required  by  "Material Girl" (the name of the brand).

Miss Lourdes is only 14 but she already wants to show the world she is not only the daughter of the most famous popstar but she can also do lots alone.

I'm not pretty sure she could have done all this if she was born in a little flat having an unemployed mum and a worker dad but for sure she would have been happier.

Ciao a tutti amanti della moda,

"Viviamo in un mondo materiale e io sono una ragazza materiale" cantava Madonna prima di dedicarsi a ritmi piu' pop, alla creazione di film e alla ricerca di nuovi toy-boys.

Ora tocca alla figlia Lourdes, con il suo nuovo marchio "Material girl" dallo stile rock di strada, ricordarci che nel 2012 le ragazze non sono diverse dagli anni precedenti, che si guarda ancora al portafoglio, sopratutto se di secondo nome fai Ciccone.

Come volto della campagna pubblicitaria del marchio la giovane Lourdes ha scelto Taylor Momsen, già famosa dopo aver partecipato ad alcune stagioni della serie "Gossip Girl". Il suo stile un po' dark e trasandato è perfetto per rappresentare il brand.

A soli 14 anni la piccola Ciccone vuole dimostrare al mondo che non è solamente la figlia della regina del pop ma che ha del talento proprio e che riesce a cavarsela da sola senza l'aiuto della mamma.

Certo, sul fatto che sarebbe riuscita ad arrivare allo stesso livello pur abitando in un appartamentino con madre disoccupata e padre operaio ho i miei dubbi, di sicuro sarebbe stata piu' felice e amata.
