Modo Bruxelles

Hello shopping addicted,
how did you spend the weekend? Hope enjoying yourselves as I did. Infact my last weekend was absolutely amazing, wonderful, it was wow. That's because I went in the centre of Brussels and I did the Modo percours. What's the Modo percours? It's a percours that lasted 3 day that permit you to discover the creations of the new belgique stylists.

The theme of the Modo Parcours 2011 was ‘Statement’. « Statement » in the sense of notification, a message of creation, of taking positions …
The Fashion Trail exposed more then seventy participants, a mix of young talents and known designers in the Brussels fashion design. All installations were made in an artistic way and in harmony with the place which was occupied, whether the designer exhibit in his own shop or he/she had been invited to exhibit in a private or unexpected place. Some of the designers were working together with other forms of art such as graphic artists, sculpture artists, photographers, dancers and actors…
It was absolutely amazing and I had the possibility to touch (I wasn't really allowed) some of the creations, to discover new talents of whom I will talk in my blog this week. People who has got art inside their heart and  deserve my respect.

come avete passato il weekend? Il mio e' stato assolutamente fantastico, eccezzionale, wow, incredibile!
Questo perche' ho avuto la possibilita' di partecipare ad uno degli eventi piu' popolari del mondo della moda a livello europeo: il percorso Modo. Di cosa si tratta? Di una caccia l tesoro tra le varie botique del centro di Brussels nelle quali sono state esposte per l'occasione le nuove creazioni di stilisti gia' conosciuti e stilisti emergenti.
 Piu' di 70 i partecipanti che hanno esposto i propri lavori all'aperto o all'interno di spazi privati in maniera artistica, elaborata e supercreativa, ma in armonia con il paesaggio.

Alcuni dei designer hanno collaborato all'allestimento di stand utilizzando varie forme d'arte: graffiti, sculture, fotografie immense. Altri ancora si sono appoggiati ad aiuto di attori, modelle e ballerini.
Il tema di questa 11esima edizione e' stato "Statement". "Statement" nel senso di ideoligia, presa di posizione, modi pensare e vivere la vita. Moltissimi quindi gli aforismi e le frasi utilizzate dagli stilisti per descrivere le proprie opere d'arti.
Come ho gia' detto e' stato fantastico poter partecipare a tutto cio, poiche' ho avuto la possibilita' di ammirare e toccare con mano (non avrei potuto) crezione fantastiche di designer nelle quali vene scorre arte pura. Molti di essi mi erano sconosciuti, ma ora che gli ho scoperti ho deciso di pubblicare in settimana alcuni pezzi su di loro in modo tale da presentarveli.
